Many of our customers come to us wishing to own a solid white “teacup” Persian kitten. However, because our white kittens are some of the largest in size of the kittens we breed, they are considered “toy” Persians and not “teacups”. So if you desire a small white Persian kitten to call your own, please check out our silver teacup Persian kittens for sale. Silvers along with golden kittens are without a doubt the smallest coat color variety. Genetically they are the most petite. Silver kittens are born darker in color, with silver scattered evenly throughout their coat. As they age, for the first two years of their life they actually lighten in color. By the time they reach maturity many of our silvers appear almost white! Below you can see a photo example of a silver teacup next to a solid white kitten.

A note about eyes
Because kittens are born with their eyes closed for approximately the first two weeks, they eye muscles have not yet had the chance to develop. Once a kitten opens his or her eyes, they may look a bit awkward. They almost appear cross eyed, as though their eyes are looking in two different directions. As a kitten ages and exercises their eye muscles more they will develop and adjust. Around 6+ weeks of age a kitten’s eyes have had time to adjust and they will lose their cross eyed appearance. If you see a kitten you are interested in with those very cute ”googly” eyes, no need to worry, your kitten will not need glasses nor does he or she have any problems with their sight. All kittens mature at slightly different rates!
