As you will see from these pictures, lilac Persians have an almost iridescent color to their coat. The shimmery pale pink hue shines through in almost every one of them. Did you know there are 8 different variations of the lilac coat color?
Lilac, or Lavender as they sometimes call it depending on your location, isn’t purple, but a dilution of chocolate, which is a dilution of black. It is one of the rarest colors found in cats!
