What is a Lop-Eared Persian?
What is the difference between a Persian and a lop-eared Persian? Their adorable folded ears, of course! These insanely cute designer Persians have floppy down-turned little ears which give them a hoot-owl appearance.
Throughout the years we have dreamed up many unique Persian delights all along, knowing the wider you stretch that gene pool, the healthier the cat becomes.
With careful selective breeding and introducing the Scottish Fold to a few of our Persian bloodlines, we have now created enchanted Lop-Eared Persians and Himalayans! These lop-eared beauties can be long-haired or short-haired (The type Taylor Swift has is short-haired).
They bring some of their quirky Scottish fold traits, such as sitting up like a human and tilting their head when you talk to them.
Each and everyone is a true masterpiece, and no two are ever the same. Though they can sometimes remind you of Disney’s Eeyore with their visually sad appearance, these furry purry works of art are some of the silliest & most affectionate Persians known to man. Their charismatic personalities bring about a positive feel-good energy that is simply contagious. We have found that the Lop-Eared Persians are very in tune with people’s inner emotions and comforting the soul with empathy when they’re sad. Their ability to comfort “their humans” is almost mesmerizing. If they sense a person is upset or sad, they make their way on your lap and gently tap your face as though to say, “It will all be okay”. They have their own way of speaking to your heart. It is so unique and heartwarming.
