If you have come to this page, it is likely because you want to learn about the prices of our Persian and Himalayan kittens.
No one set price applies to all kittens, colors, or gender. As you very well know, each kitten is 100% unique.
We set the prices individually. Many contributing factors go into pricing a kitten.
1.) The coat length. The shorthair Persians are much easier to raise because of their low-maintenance hair coats; therefore, they are our cheapest Persians.
2.) The coat color. Unique coat colors are higher.
3.) Size of the kitty. Teacup & Pixie kittens are our high-priced kittens because they are much more delicate at birth and the first three weeks of life.
4.) Any cosmetic flaw.
5.) We are willing to keep that kitten as a future breeder.
You may notice that some kittens are above $10,000. That would be a kitten we will keep back as a future breeder if he or she does not bring their asking price.
Prices overall start at $3500 and go up from there. We have diligently worked on laboring all health concerns out of our kittens for 34+ years, so rest assured you are not buying a kitty from an inexperienced cat breeder.
All of our lines have been DNA and blood tested for every known feline issue that is available to humans.
We understand buying on the Internet can be very scary, and we want our customers to know your hard-earned money and heart are safe with us. Know these prices come with honesty, integrity, and decades of knowledgeable expertise. Even if the slightest cosmetic flaw exists in one of our kittens, we disclose that information to our clients and modify the appropriate price.
Raising animals in an impeccably clean living environment results in very healthy pets; however, that comes with much higher living costs, as you can imagine. We have seen a massive number of pop-up cat breeders since the beginning of COVID-19. These breeders offer cheap Persian kittens, usually in the $2000-$2500 price range, leading the public to believe that is the average price point of a quality-bred Persian or Himalayan. Pop-up breeders appear on Facebook or may have tossed together a 5–10-page website. People don’t know these breeders have gathered a couple of females and a male (or may use a stud breeding service). They aren’t concerned with the fact you want that cat to be in your life/family for 15+ years. They lack knowledge of the lineage and don’t test for potential life-threatening genetic issues like PKD1 and HCM. It does you, the consumer, no good to go looking for them to report the issues because pop-up cat breeders are just that, here today, gone in a year, if that, despite the fact they claim to have been in business for years & years. Producing happy, healthy kittens started as a hobby for us back in 1989 and turned into a labor of love that still thrives today. We spare no expense for our kittens and never have. Color Patterns
Some color patterns are more difficult to produce; therefore, their prices are higher.
Security Deposits
Placing a security deposit is the only way to hold/secure a kitten. Security deposits hold the kitten for 48 hours. After this period, full payment is due unless otherwise arranged.
All deposits are taken in good faith and are non-refundable unless we cancel the sale.
The Purchasing Process
Once you have selected your dream kitten or kittens, you must complete the online kitten application; if approved, we will send you an invoice to secure that kitten. This holding deposit is non-refundable and takes the kitten off the market for any additional customers.
We do not accept the total balance via Paypal or Cash App.
The kitten must be paid in full prior to leaving our home.
We do not deliver kittens to the airport for customers who want to pay with cash.
If you are paying in cash, your kitten must be picked up here in Unionville, Missouri.
The holding deposit for clients paying in cash is $500. This deposit is also non-refundable.
Bank wiring instructions are on the sales contract.
Please remember that we give up a considerable part of our lives to offer you kittens without the middleman (pet stores or brokers).
We cannot leave all of our furry kids for more than 12 hours. This is a hard job and requires an extreme amount of dedication 24/7. 365 days a year. This cattery was established in 1989.
