Prices of Persian, Himalayan & Exotic Shorthair Persian Kittens in 2026
If you’ve landed on this page, you’re likely looking to understand the pricing of our Persian, Himalayan, and Exotic Shorthair Persian kittens.
There is no single set price that applies to all kittens. As you already know, each kitten is 100% unique, and pricing is determined individually based on several important factors.
How Pricing Is Determined
Coat Length
Shorthair Persians (Exotic Shorthairs) are generally our most affordable kittens. Their lower-maintenance coats make them easier to raise, which is reflected in their pricing.
Coat Color & Rarity
Rarer and more difficult-to-produce colors are priced higher. Our Rug Huggers and Indigo-Eyed Persians are among the highest-priced kittens due to the many years of selective breeding, development, and refinement invested into these lines.
Cosmetic Traits
Any cosmetic flaw we identify is fully disclosed and reflected in the kitten’s price.
Breeder-Quality Potential
If a kitten is one we would be willing to keep as a future breeder, that significantly affects pricing. You may notice some kittens priced above $10,000—these are kittens we are prepared to retain unless their asking price is met.
Please note: Kittens discounted due to age and/or cosmetic traits are not eligible for additional discounts.
General Price Range
Prices start at $3,500 and go up from there.
For over 37 years, we have worked diligently to labor health concerns out of our lines. When you purchase from us, you are not buying from an inexperienced or casual breeder.
All of our lines are DNA and blood tested for every known feline issue currently testable, including serious genetic concerns. This depth of testing, combined with decades of hands-on experience, is rare—and it matters.
This is not a pastime or hobby for us.
This is our life’s work.
Transparency, Integrity & Buyer Protection
We understand that purchasing a kitten online can feel intimidating. We want our families to know that their heart and their hard-earned money are safe with us.
Our pricing reflects:
-
honesty
-
transparency
-
decades of knowledgeable expertise
If even the slightest cosmetic flaw exists, it is always disclosed and priced accordingly. There are no surprises after the fact.
A Gentle but Important Word of Caution
Social media—particularly Facebook—has become saturated with breeders offering Persian kittens at unusually low price points. Many appear professional at first glance, but buyers often don’t realize that:
-
breeding cats may have unknown or untested lineage
-
essential genetic testing (such as PKD1 and HCM) is frequently not performed
-
health issues may not surface until weeks, months, or even years later
-
the breeder may no longer be reachable once problems arise
What many people don’t see is what happens after the sale.
We are regularly contacted by families who unknowingly purchased kittens from Facebook “pop-up breeders” and are now seeking advice on what to do with a sick kitten. By the time these buyers reach out, the original breeder is often unresponsive or completely gone. It’s heartbreaking—and in many cases, those situations could have been avoided with proper health testing, responsible breeding, and long-term accountability.
We believe that anyone producing kittens should feel a responsibility not just for the sale, but for the entire lifetime of that cat. That responsibility doesn’t end when a kitten leaves our home—and it never has for us.
Our journey began in 1989 with a mission to better the traditional Persian breed. That mission has grown into a legacy we protect fiercely. We spare no expense, and we never have.
If an issue ever arises, know that we will be here—only a call, text, or email away.
Color Patterns
Some color patterns are far more difficult to produce, requiring years of planning and selective breeding. Pricing reflects the expertise, time, and dedication required to produce them responsibly.
