Lilac Persian Kittens

You’ll find a glimpse of some of our past Lilac Persian kittens here — a color so rare and enchanting that we only have a small handful of photos to share. Lilacs simply don’t come along often, which makes each one feel like a little miracle when they do.

As you browse these images, you’ll notice something truly special about their coats. Lilac Persians carry an almost iridescent glow, as if their fur has been dusted with soft moonlight. Their delicate, shimmery tones reveal hints of pale pink and silvery lavender that seem to change with the light, giving them a dreamy, fairytale quality you have to see in person to fully appreciate.

There are actually eight different variations of the lilac coat, each with its own subtle personality and shade. And despite the name “lilac” or “lavender,” the color isn’t purple at all. Genetically, it’s a beautiful dilution of chocolate — which itself is a dilution of black — creating one of the softest, most ethereal colors found anywhere in the feline world.

Simply put, Lilac Persians are among the rarest and most exquisite treasures in the cat fancy… and when one graces our nursery, it’s truly something magical.
