Himalayan Shorthair
Yes
With a name like Yeti, you might expect a big, mysterious creature—but our Yeti is quite the opposite. He is a sweet little Golden Point Shorthair Himalayan with a teddy-bear face, beautiful blue eyes, and a personality that makes him very hard to walk past without stopping for a cuddle.
Yeti’s coloring is especially beautiful. His creamy coat is accented by warm golden points that will continue to become more noticeable as he matures. And, of course, those eyes! His gorgeous, deep-blue Himalayan eyes stand out beautifully against the warmth of his coat. He has such an expressive little face that sometimes you can almost tell exactly what he is thinking.
Personality-wise, Yeti is just a good little guy. He is affectionate, playful, and very people-oriented. He likes knowing where everyone is and has a habit of appearing beside you just to see what you’re up to. He’ll happily entertain himself with a toy, but if given the choice between playing alone and getting attention, his people usually win.
One of the cutest things about Yeti is how seriously he takes being talked to. Say his name, and he’ll stop what he’s doing, look right at you with those big blue eyes, and listen as though you’re telling him something extremely important. Of course, we usually aren’t—but don’t tell Yeti that!
His short, plush coat gives him that cuddly little teddy-bear look without the coat maintenance of a traditional long-haired Himalayan. Combine that with his beautiful Golden Point coloring, striking blue eyes, and lovable personality, and Yeti really is something special.
We can picture him stretched out beside his favorite person on the sofa, following them through the house, and greeting them with that sweet little face every morning. Yeti isn’t looking for much—just someone willing to give him plenty of love, a few good toys, and permission to be involved in absolutely everything.
Something tells us he won’t have much trouble finding exactly that.
Please read through our Terms & Conditions page to learn more about our purchasing policies.
If you feel a special connection with this sweet fur-baby, we invite you to fill out our online kitten application below and tell us about the loving home you envision for him or her.
We thoughtfully select homes that complement each kitty’s individual personality, temperament, and well-being. If we believe your home could be a wonderful match, we’ll reach out to discuss the next steps.
Before applying, please take a few moments to read through our Terms & Conditions page. It contains important information about our adoption process, policies, and what to expect along the way. We want every family to feel comfortable, informed, and excited before taking that next step with us.
One little reminder from our hearts—the World Wide Web never sleeps. Our kittens are seen by families near and far, around the clock, and a kitten who is available when you fall in love with them may have found their forever family by the time you return.
These precious little souls aren’t something that can simply be restocked or reproduced. There is only ONE of that exact kitten in the entire world—one little face, one personality, and one unique combination of everything that made your heart stop and say, “That’s the one.” Once that kitten has found their forever home, there will never be another exactly like them.
So, if you keep coming back to the same little face and your heart has already made that special connection, don’t wait too long to apply.
Please remember that an inquiry, application, or verbal commitment does not reserve a kitten. If you’ve found your perfect match, we encourage you to take the next step while that special little one is still available.

We use Tidy Cats Instant Action Unscented Non-Clumping Clay Cat Litter. We have it delivered from Chewy.com.
We have tried many different litter pans and found the basic Van Ness large litter box works best for kitties since we dump and bleach all our litter pans daily.
When you bring your new kitten home, it’s essential to set up one special room just for them—their home base room.
We try to teach our cats not to scratch rugs or carpet, so it’s best to offer appealing scratching alternatives like sisal or carpet-covered scratchers to avoid confusing your cat and protect your floors.
