Meet Little Bear 🐻🤎

Sometimes a kitten gets a name that just fits him perfectly, and Little Bear is exactly that.

This sweet boy is our beautiful Golden Chinchilla, and he honestly looks like a tiny teddy bear brought to life. His coat has the softest, warm golden glow underneath with delicate darker tipping across the ends of his fur. It gives him that beautiful shaded effect without taking away from the light, almost creamy golden color underneath. As his coat continues to grow and fluff out, we think he is going to be absolutely breathtaking.

And then there’s that little face.

Little Bear has such a soft, innocent expression that makes it nearly impossible to walk past him without stopping for a cuddle. He always seems to be looking up at you as though he has something very important to tell you…and usually we fall for it. 😂

Personality-wise, he is every bit as sweet as he looks.

Little Bear is affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully people-oriented. He enjoys playing and exploring like any kitten, but he seems especially happy when he knows his people are nearby. He has that quiet sweetness about him that makes you naturally want to scoop him up and hold him.

One of my favorite things he does is come over when we sit down and linger right beside us. He’ll look up, put those little front paws against us, and wait.

Apparently, Little Bear has decided asking politely is much more effective than meowing. 😂

Of course, it works.

We pick him up, he settles in, and suddenly whatever we were supposed to be doing doesn’t seem nearly as important anymore.

That’s Little Bear.

He’s not the kitten who needs to be the loudest one in the room to get your attention. He just quietly works his way into your heart until you realize you’ve been sitting there loving on him for the last twenty minutes.

I think Little Bear is going to be one of those cats whose family develops a hundred little routines with him—the morning hello, the kitty who comes looking for them when they sit down, the little shadow following them into another room, and the warm fluffy body curled up nearby at the end of the day.

His Golden Chinchilla coat may be what catches your eye first, but his sweet personality is what makes him so hard to forget.

Somebody is going to get to call this precious little teddy bear theirs.

And I have a feeling Little Bear will make that home feel just a little bit warmer. 🐻🤎
