Meet Glowie

If you love everything about a Persian but aren’t quite as excited about maintaining all that long, flowing hair, Glowie may be exactly the girl you’ve been hoping to find. 💕

Meet Glowie, our beautiful retired Exotic Shorthair Persian—or, as we affectionately like to call them, the “Lazy Man’s Persian.” 😂

The very first thing you’ll notice about Glowie is her EYES. She has the most striking, brilliant blue eyes that almost don’t look real! Blue eyes like hers are incredibly unusual and especially striking with her coloring. They give her the sweetest expression, and when she looks directly at you with those big blue eyes, she’s awfully hard to resist.

But as beautiful as Glowie is, her personality is what makes us love her most.

She has that wonderful, sweet Persian temperament wrapped up in an easy-to-maintain, short, plush coat. A little regular combing and basic grooming is all it takes to keep her looking beautiful. No hours spent maintaining a long Persian coat—leaving more time for the important things in life…like cuddling. 😊

And cuddling suits Glowie just fine.

She is such a genuinely sweet and gentle girl. Her personality has a softness that makes her incredibly easy to love. She enjoys affection, loves being talked to, and is perfectly content just hanging out with her people.

Glowie doesn’t feel the need to be the center of every little thing happening around her. Sometimes she’s happiest finding a comfortable spot nearby, quietly watching what everyone is doing and waiting for you to come over and give her some love.

And once you do, those big blue eyes have a funny way of convincing you to stay a little longer. 💙

That’s one of the things we love most about her. She’s just easy to have around. Sweet, gentle, content, and happy to be part of everyday family life without constantly demanding attention.

Glowie is also comfortable around other cats, and we think she would be especially happy in a home with another kitty friend to keep her company.
