Meet Stella 

There are some kittens you admire because they’re beautiful…and then there are kittens you find yourself thinking about long after you’ve walked away.

Stella is one of those.

She is our absolutely gorgeous Shaded Golden Shorthair girl, with a soft plush coat, beautiful warm golden coloring, and the most incredible blue eyes. And these aren’t simply kitten-blue eyes that will eventually change—Stella is one of our special Forever Blue-Eyed Persians, which means those breathtaking blue eyes are hers for life.

The combination is stunning.

Her warm golden coloring against the crisp white in her coat makes those brilliant blue eyes stand out even more. Sometimes she’ll turn her little face toward you and the light catches them just right, and you can’t help but stop and look at her.

But the funny thing is, after spending time with Stella, you almost forget how unusual her eyes are.

Because you start falling in love with Stella instead.

She is such a sweet, endearing little girl. She loves being part of everyday life and seems happiest when she knows her people are nearby. She has a gentle curiosity about everything and the cutest way of quietly appearing beside you just to see what you’re doing.

One day I was sitting down, trying to finish a few things, when I noticed Stella sitting nearby, watching me.

I reached down, gave her a little scratch, and went back to what I was doing.

A minute later, she was closer.

Then closer again.

Finally, she put her little paws against me and looked straight up with those enormous blue eyes.

I said, “Stella, I really do have things I need to get done.”

She just kept looking at me.

That was it. 😂

A few seconds later, she was in my lap, completely content, and I was sitting there wondering how such a tiny little girl had already become so good at getting her way without making a sound.

She doesn’t have to demand your affection. She has this soft little way of drawing you in until loving on her feels like exactly where you’re supposed to be.

I can picture her in her new home so easily.

Following her person into the kitchen in the morning. Sitting nearby while they’re doing ordinary things around the house. Greeting them when they come home. Curling up close at night. And every once in a while, looking up at them with those same incredible blue eyes and making them wonder how they ever got lucky enough to call her theirs.

Yes, Stella is rare.

Yes, those Forever Blue Eyes are breathtaking.

And yes, her golden coloring makes her incredibly special.

But none of those things is why I think someone is going to fall completely in love with her.

They’re going to love the little girl behind those beautiful blue eyes.

Someday Stella won’t be “the kitten we had available.”

She’ll be someone’s Stella.

Someone’s little shadow. Someone’s warm spot beside them on the couch. Someone’s reason to smile when they walk through the door.

And when the right person finds her, I have a feeling they’re going to wonder how they ever lived without her. 💙
