Oh, Miss Lucy… this little girl has already figured out exactly how life works. She is the princess, we are her staff, and honestly, we’re all perfectly fine with the arrangement. 😂👑
Lucy is our absolutely beautiful Calico Persian girl with the prettiest mixture of colors and a sweet little face that makes it incredibly difficult to tell her no.
And we’re pretty sure she knows it.
Lucy LOVES attention, but she doesn’t exactly ask for it the way the other kittens do. She has this funny little way of sitting nearby and staring at you as though she’s patiently waiting for you to remember that you have a princess in the room who clearly hasn’t been properly adored in the last five minutes.
Pick her up, tell her she’s beautiful, and suddenly everything is right in Lucy’s world again. 💕
One of the funniest things about her is how quickly she finds the most comfortable spot in the room. We can put down a fresh blanket, fluff up a little bed, or toss a soft throw onto the couch, and somehow Lucy is ALWAYS the first kitten to discover it.
One day, we had just folded a fresh pile of soft blankets and hadn’t even had time to put them away. We turned around, and there sat Lucy right on top of the entire stack.
She wasn’t playing.
She wasn’t exploring.
She was sitting there perfectly content, looking at us like, “Thank you. This will do.” 😂
We couldn’t even move her. How do you disturb a princess once she’s found her throne?
That’s Lucy.
She enjoys playing and certainly has her silly kitten moments, but she also loves the finer things in life: soft places to nap, being fussed over, someone talking sweetly to her, and plenty of one-on-one attention.
Lucy is the kind of little girl who makes you want to spoil her. There’s just something about her. Before you know it, you’ll be buying her the softest bed in the house…and she’ll probably still choose your pillow. 😂
She would be wonderful for someone who wants a beautiful little girl to truly make part of the family. Someone who doesn’t mind having a tiny shadow nearby, appreciates a kitten with a little personality, and fully understands that once Lucy moves in, she may very well become the lady of the house.
But really… look at that face.

We have tried many different litter pans and found the basic Van Ness large litter box works best for kitties since we dump and bleach all our litter pans daily.
When you bring your new kitten home, it’s essential to set up one special room just for them—their home base room.
We try to teach our cats not to scratch rugs or carpet, so it’s best to offer appealing scratching alternatives like sisal or carpet-covered scratchers to avoid confusing your cat and protect your floors.
