Jinx is wrapped from head to toe in the most beautiful jet-black coat, but underneath all that dramatic coloring is one seriously mushy little heart. He is the kind of kitten who doesn’t just enjoy affection… he goes looking for it.
If there is a lap available, Jinx thinks it probably belongs to him. Sit down near him, and it isn’t long before he starts making his way over, looking for a cuddle or a good chin scratch. He especially loves having his little cheeks rubbed and will lean his whole face into your hand as if he’s trying to make sure you don’t stop!
One of the cutest things about Jinx is how happy he is just being close to you. Sometimes he doesn’t even need to be held—he simply wants to be wherever his people are. He’ll play and bounce around like any kitten, but once he’s worn himself out, he starts looking for someone warm and comfortable to snuggle up beside.
And don’t let that handsome black coat fool you into thinking he’s mysterious and serious. Jinx can be a complete goofball! He’ll pounce on a toy, chase something across the nursery, and then suddenly stop and look at you as though he had absolutely nothing to do with the commotion.
His beautiful solid-black coloring makes those expressive eyes and sweet little face stand out even more. As his coat grows in, we think he’ll be an incredibly handsome boy with that classic, luxurious Persian look.
As our last black kitten of 2026, Jinx is special, but truthfully, his personality makes him unforgettable.
He is affectionate, silly, gentle, and completely convinced that people were put on this earth to love him. After about five minutes with Jinx, you may start to believe he’s right.
Somebody is going to get one incredible little best friend with this boy. 🖤
