Some kittens make you smile.
Beau makes you laugh.
We honestly never know what he’s going to do next, and that’s half the fun of having him around.
If something funny is happening in the nursery, there’s a very good chance Beau started it. He’s the first one to investigate a new toy, the first one to turn an empty box into an adventure, and usually the first one racing through the room with a little more confidence than coordination.
He’s convinced life is supposed to be exciting.
And honestly…
We’re starting to think he’s right.
One of our favorite things about Beau is that he doesn’t even realize how funny he is.
He’ll pounce on a crinkly ball like he’s stalking a lion, then accidentally roll right onto his back in the middle of the “attack.”
He’ll proudly carry a toy around the nursery as if he’s just accomplished something extraordinary.
And every now and then he’ll come flying around the corner so fast that his fluffy little feet can’t quite keep up.
We probably laugh at him more than we should.
Thankfully…
He seems to enjoy making us laugh.
Of course, Beau is absolutely beautiful.
His warm golden coat almost glows, and those big round eyes always seem to have a little sparkle in them.
The funniest part?
He has perfected the look.
You know the one.
The sweet, innocent expression that says, “I have absolutely no idea who knocked that toy off the shelf.”
Even when we watched him do it.
As entertaining as Beau is, his favorite thing isn’t toys.
It’s people.
He loves knowing what you’re doing and thinks every household chore deserves his supervision.
Folding laundry?
Beau is there.
Working on the computer?
He’d like to inspect the keyboard.
Sweeping the floor?
He’s more than willing to “help,” although his idea of helping usually creates a little more work.
We wouldn’t have it any other way.
He’s happiest when he’s with his people, even if all he’s doing is following you from one room to the next.
When all the excitement is over, Beau has a completely different side.
He’ll climb into your lap, settle in as he belongs there, and start purring before you even have the chance to pet him.
It’s one of our favorite things about him.
He has this wonderful balance of playful energy and genuine affection that makes him such an easy kitten to fall in love with.
Life with Beau is going to be full of laughter.
It’ll be full of funny stories you’ll tell for years.
And somewhere along the way, without even realizing it, this silly little golden boy will become one of your favorite parts of coming home.
